Coronavirus Update from Halo

16 Mar Coronavirus Update from Halo

The situation surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19) is changing rapidly.

At Halo, we are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak closely and adhering to guidance from the government and our health authorities regarding the proper prevention and management of this issue.

Our top priority is the health and wellbeing of our patients and staff.

In addition to the precautions we’re all taking as individuals, as a team we have already increased our normal strict disinfecting regime and thank you all for taking hand washing/sanitising seriously when you’re at our clinic.

As we stand today, we want to issue the following information regarding visiting Halo for appointments, classes or sessions:

  1. If you, or anyone in your household, have any flu like or Coronavirus symptoms (fever, a new, continuous cough, shortness of breath) please DO NOT visit Halo. Please telephone or email to cancel your appointment. We have never charged for cancelled appointments if you are unwell, and this is still the case. Please adhere to current NHS guidelines that state if one person in any household starts to display symptoms, everyone living there must stay at home for 14 days. Please only rebook your appointment after this period.
  2. If it is confirmed you have contracted Coronavirus, or a member of your family has, or you have been asked to self-isolate because you have been in contact with someone who has the virus, please do not visit Halo until you have completed 14 days of self-isolation.
  3. If you do cancel an appointment and tell us you are self-isolating, we would really appreciate further information. If you are happy to, then please can you say if it is for a new cough/fever, exposure to a known Coronavirus case or personal choice (if you are in a high risk group for example). All information will be treated in complete confidence.
  4. Please do not visit Halo if you have returned from overseas in the last 7 days.

We trust you’ll understand that these measures are in place to protect everyone who is part of Halo, our patients (including many in vulnerable groups), class attendees, our staff and their families, and people in our local towns and beyond.

Halo remains committed to doing the very best we can for everyone in these extremely challenging times, and all within the safest environment we can all help to create.

We wish every one of you and your families good health and hope you stay well.
