15 Oct Jill Drew Joins Halo
We’re delighted to welcome Jill Drew to the team!
Jill has been a Physiotherapist for 34 years and has worked across the UK in multiple settings, including within the NHS as a Clinical Specialist, in private hospitals and in private clinics.
Jill holds special interests in the shoulder and elbow, spinal pain and headaches, post operative rehabilitation, ergonomics, acupuncture and pilates.
Jill’s philosophy is simple:
- Assess the problem and identify its cause.
- Aim to make a difference to the symptoms within 3 weeks.
- Help patients to understand the cause of their problem and equip them with the tools to manage it in the long term.
Jill is very much a ‘hands on’ therapist and uses a variety of treatments including manipulation, soft tissue massage, acupuncture and tailored exercise prescription.
In 2017,2018 and 2019 Jill gained Quality Assured Practitioner status from the University of Brighton & Physio First (the Trade Association for Physios in Private Practice), which is awarded for patient outcome data achieving a national standard.
She was also an accredited AACP tutor for 12 years and taught acupuncture to undergraduate and post graduate physiotherapists.
In her spare time Jill enjoys Yoga and Pilates, walking the coastal path in Norfolk, keeping chickens and is studying to become a beekeeper!
