We’re delighted to announce Amy Holtby has joined the team here at Halo!
Amy joins us as a Pilates Instructor and will be running Mat Pilates classes, small group Reformer Pilates classes and 1-to-1 Reformer Pilates sessions.
Amy is a fully qualified and experienced Pilates Instructor having first trained with the Pilates Foundation 20 years ago and more recently with Body Control, and being responsible for several successful Pilates studios throughout her career.
Amy says: “I love teaching Pilates to class attendees of all abilities and have helped people recover and manage many different injuries and issues. My specialist area of interest is Women’s Health, and particularly those women that are peri or post-menopausal.”
As well as Pilates classes, Amy will also be starting a series of menopause workshops, in order to help those that are peri and post-menopause, or those who just want to know more about what’s ahead.
Amy’s classes are inclusive, fun, friendly and effective. Amy focusses on technique and always offer regression and progressions so clients can work at an appropriate level. In group classes Amy supervises a whole body workout so clients feel balanced and trained after every session. Amy’s private classes are more bespoke and work on the different areas that need strengthening and mobilising in line with individual needs.
